Father Joseph Dean, SCI a Priest of the
Sacred Heart brought much joy to the St. Theresa Parish during the Parish
Mission. Father Dean is visiting us Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin. He is a
very dynamic and spiritual speaker. He delivered many eye opening and
passionate messages during his week in our parish.Jesus is everywhere, he
is not bound by geographical boundaries. He loves everyone, even those we
despise. He loves everyone. So if we follow the
path of Jesus, we must love everyone, even those we feel we despise, those
who are from areas we never visit, those who are not like ourselves. We must
love everyone.
The heart is in the biblical world, the center of the person where
decisions are made. So when we're talking about the heart of Christ we're
talking about the core of the Second Person of the Trinity made Flesh, and
the mystery is not a problem to be solved.
Mysteries in the New Testament are hidden things which are made clear,
and what the heart of Christ makes clear is the mystery of the Father's love
and of Jesus' love and the mystery of the spirit in the world. So we're
talking about the love of God in Jesus Christ as his beloved Son. We're
talking about the mystery of Jesus dying and rising and we're going to talk
in the third part about the mystery of Jesus' real presence in the Eucharist
and through the Eucharist in the world.
